24's Performances

We're new, we're adventurous, we're having fun...

Want to join us?

We're always on the lookout for new talent.

We recruit for each of eight parts (S1, S2, A1, A2, etc) and if you have a settled range and some good experience give it some thought.

Sightreading ability is required but a willingness to really put the homework in is just as important if not more so.

We hate note bashing in rehearsals as we want to work on performance dynamics primarily.

While ensemble previous experience is not essential, it's good if you are able to confidently hold a solo line when a piece requires it - full support in building this is offered.

To find out more, drop us a line in the email box below and we'll set up a time for you to chat things through with Helen, our MD face to face.

We aim to accommodate those returning to choral singing as well as those setting out, while simultaneously challenging established singers with some fun repertoire.

Our Aims

24 is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable objectives that aim to promote, develop, and maintain public interest and education in classical choral, and in particular a cappella, chamber choir singing, for the wellbeing, engagement, and emotional support of audiences, singers, and students (of all ages). The choir performs and recruits primarily in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire. Our objectives are entirely charitable and all funds raised will go towards the furtherance of the above objectives. We also endeavour to support local charities where possible through funds, but also through sponsored or free access to the concerts and services the group can provide. Where possible we aim to give respite to those whose efforts in other charitable, social, or educational ventures all too often go unnoticed.
