Support the work of the choir in bringing pieces to life by sponsoring a piece in the next concert. Samuel Barber's adagio was composed in 1936 and in the 60's set to the words of the Agnus Dei. Used effectively in war films too, it is a piece that echoes the calamity and loss of war. We use it to echo the final section of any Mass, in this case Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir.
