Taking the Spanish theme to extremes, our concert in Towcester started with Victoria's sumptuous Mass and comparing motets with Lobo. Then we headed off on the pilgrimage that is Joby Talbot's Santiago, with a nod also to another creative treatment of chant from Gjeilo and the superb concert pianist, Jon French. Taking the pilgrimage road further even bumped into some folk and flamenco on the way... To be reprised in Woodstock.
